Air Fryer Gluten-Free Cheeseburger Bowls
These gluten-free cheeseburger bowls are everything you love about a classic burger, just cleaner and better. Crispy air fryer potatoes instead of a bun, juicy ground beef cooked with pickle brine and melted cheddar, and all the usual toppings.
The air fryer changes everything here. The potatoes get golden and crisp in minutes, with barely any effort. Tossed in olive oil, pink Himalayan sea salt, and Cajun seasoning, they bring the perfect balance of heat and flavor that goes so well with the creamy, tangy burger toppings.

Why you’ll love this

A cheeseburger, but cleaner and layered into something you can actually sit with. Juicy beef with pickle brine, melted cheese folded in, crisp Cajun fries, fresh lettuce, tomato, onion, and real pickles in every bite. Finished with ketchup, mustard, and mayo.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- Splash of pickle brine
- Steak seasoning
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- 1 –2 russet potatoes cut into fries
- Salt
- Black pepper
- Cajun seasoning
- ½ white onion finely chopped
- 1 tomato chopped
- 1 –2 cups lettuce chopped
- Pickles sliced
- Ketchup
- Mustard
- Mayonnaise
- Sesame seeds optional
Instructions
- Cook the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat, breaking it apart as it browns. Add a splash of pickle brine while cooking and season generously with steak seasoning. Let it cook until fully browned and slightly caramelized.
- Lower the heat and sprinkle the shredded cheese over the beef, letting it melt directly into the pan until rich and cohesive.
- While the beef cooks, toss the cut potatoes with salt, pepper, and Cajun seasoning. Air fry until golden and crisp on the outside and soft in the center.
- Chop the onion, tomato, lettuce, and pickles so everything is fresh and ready to layer.
- Build your bowls by adding a base of fries, followed by the cheesy beef. Scatter the onion, tomato, lettuce, and pickles over the top.
- Finish with a drizzle of ketchup, mustard, and mayo, letting it melt slightly into the warm layers. Sprinkle sesame seeds over the top if you want that full cheeseburger feel.

Notes
Add bacon or swap in ground turkey if you want to switch it up.
You can turn this low-carb by skipping the fries and doubling the lettuce
