Creamy, tangy, slightly sweet, and made with clean ingredients—this homemade burger sauce is the ultimate topping for bowls, burgers, fries, or dipping. A dreamy, elevated take on the nostalgic drive-thru classic.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup real mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp ketchup organic or no added sugar
  • 1 tsp worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tsp yellow mustard
  • 1 tbsp finely chopped dill pickles or relish
  • 1 tsp pickle juice
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp paprika
  • pinch of sea salt to taste

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients to a small mason jar: mayo, ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire, chopped pickles, pickle juice, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, sea salt, and sweetener if using.
  • Seal the lid tightly and shake until smooth and fully combined.
  • Taste and adjust to your liking—more tang, more spice, or a touch more sweetness.
  • Chill in the fridge for at least 20 minutes before serving to let the flavors settle.
  • Keep stored in the sealed jar for up to one week. Just shake again before each use.

Notes

If you use avocado oil mayo or clean mayo, the calories and fats stay about the same but are more nutrient-dense.
Using reduced-sugar ketchup or omitting sweetener will slightly lower the carbs and sugar content.
One batch (using 1/2 cup mayo) makes about 8 tablespoons, or 8 servings
